Published in ACM Journal: Digital Threats: Research and Practice (DTRAP), 2024
Developed a hybrid deep learning approach for behavior-based threat actor attribution, employing natural language processing and machine learning.
Published in arXiv preprint, 2025
Introduced ROAR, a scalable privacy-preserving framework that removes sensitive objects using segmentation and generative inpainting while preserving dataset utility for 2D and 3D vision tasks.
Published in World Conference on Explainable Artificial Intelligence (xAI 2025), 2025
Proposed a biologically inspired method for assessing convolutional filter significance using SSVEP-based frequency tagging to enhance model interpretability in CNNs.
Workshops, Sabancı University, 2021
As a co-founder and co-lead of SUCyber, the cybersecurity student association of Sabancı University, I organized and delivered 8-week hands-on cybersecurity workshops each semester. The workshops covered topics such as Linux fundamentals, network security, web exploitation, reverse engineering, and digital forensics. In addition, I co-led the university’s Capture the Flag (CTF) team and coordinated annual CTF competitions (2021–2023) by designing and deploying original challenges across categories including web, pwn, reverse engineering, OSINT, and forensics.
Undergraduate course, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, 2023
I was a teaching assistant for the course Secure Programming at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
